Most frequent ask questions 

Typically in the recreational league, the player will have one 60 minute practice and one game per week. The recreational league lasts for at least a month to 3 months, while travel basketball is year round depending on age. AAU travel basketball is set up to have two 120-minute practices per week and play two tournaments per month, which could be played on Saturday and Sunday’s. For recreational, games will only be played at one location. AAU travel basketball plays local tournaments plus travels to other regions and states throughout the season. 

To register for the AAU card, go to the website play.aausport.org and click on get a membership. Before filling out the information, you will receive an email regarding the club code from the Team Manager. Please click on the youth athlete membership and fill out the information. Once everything is filled out, you will pay the fee for the AAU card and print out the bottom of the page that has the ID and the players name. 

Yes. As we do not enjoy rejecting players through our tryout process, it is necessary that we do this to preserve our competitiveness. With that being said, we do offer other programs meant for players who need the extra training to continue to develop their skills. 

No, you need to register for the tryout ahead of time and have completed the form so that we have all of the necessary information on hand prior to tryouts. 

Yes, we encourage people to recommend others who are interested in wanting their child to join a travel basketball team. We offer a strong team culture with a substantial amount of coaching experience with student athletes. Also, providing guidance to students who are in need of help in the classroom, giving them the opportunity to not only succeed on the court, but also in academics. As a program, we focus on academics in making sure each student athlete exceeds in their education by striving for a higher gpa. With this, we give them advice and guidance on what they need to do to become more invested in their education. While giving student athletes self-development to enhance their skills on the court. What sets our travel basketball club apart is our commitment to a well-rounded and player-focused experience that goes beyond just playing the game. In essence, our club offers a comprehensive approach to player development that blends high-level basketball with personal growth, creating a unique and enriching experience for every student athlete. 

Cost varies on training and tournaments. Variables that go into cost include gym fees, tournament fees, travel fees, uniforms, insurance and other costs. Feel free to contact us through phone or email regarding any specific questions.

All club players are expected to attend 2-3 practices per week. Travel Club team participants are expected to have regular practice attendance, daily practice on their own, and full tournament attendance. There will be two tournaments per month with teams competing at the highest level. This is a full season commitment. 

If your child doesn’t have as much experience, we have our academy trainings to develop your student athlete by understanding the fundamentals of basketball while enhancing their skills to the next level. The academy includes a beginner, intermediate and advanced training that fits the skill of the student athlete.
